Background Information:

The attached TSBA District Policy Manual Updating and On-line Service Agreement must be approved by the Board prior to execution. This contract will allow TSBA to continue updating the Board’s policy manual and keep the Board’s policies updated on the System’s website. The Board has had such an agreement for a number of years. In addition, TSBA monitors state and federal laws and suggests policy changes when necessary. This contract covers the period from October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2013. TSBA also provides for payments of $2,500 per year in lieu of all funds being due at the inception of the contract. TSBA has been notified that the Board will not meet again until October 4, 2010.

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the TSBA District Policy Manual Updating and On-line Service Agreement.
